Rawalpindi Development News : Design of Railway underpasses to be handed over to RDA

Rawalpindi—The detailed designs of the Mareer Chowk Railway Tunnel and Shah Khalid Colony Railway underpass would be handed over on Septermber18 (today) to Rawalpindi Development Authority.

RDA official said that shifting of utility services and diversion of the railway track was underway for timely commencement of construction work on Mareer Chowk Railway tunnel project.

He said that Wapda would pass the electricity lines in a big pipe under the railway track which was being laid. The representatives of the consultant companies, which prepared design of both projects, would brief RDA officials on Tuesday (today).
