CDA allots 18 industrial, 18 agri, 43 commercial plots in five years
ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) allotted 18 industrial, 18 agricultural and 43 commercial plots during the last five years while 29 plots were allotted to the government organisations and three to private educational institutions.
Eighteen agro farms were allotted to the affected people of different villages of Islamabad. As a political figure influenced the allotment, the plots were transferred immediately after the allotment. Because of the political influence, all these agro farms worth millions of rupees were allotted in the Orchard Scheme on the Murree Road because other farm auction schemes are located at long distance and the value of plots there is half as compared to this scheme. The affected people, who were allotted agricultural plots, include Karim Dad (Sheikhpur), legal heirs Ghulam Rasool and Marbal (Koka), legal heirs Hukamdad and Muhammad Younas (Sihala), legal heirs Muhammad Ali (Bhekar Akhu), Sultan Khan and Mansab Khan (Pind Sangrial), Niaz Akhter son of Khan Gul, legal heirs Altaf Shah (Kurri), legal heirs Ditta son of Jabro (Lunda Masal), Najam Yasin (Pindori), Kamran Yasin (Pindori), Shahzada Noon (Noon), Ghufran Begum (Lunda Masal), Gulab Jan (Korak), legal heirs Fazal Elahi (two plots), Abdur Rashid son of Wali Muhammad, Sarwar son of Gama (Jhangi Syedan, Jagiot) and legal heirs Sher Ahmed (Javed Qadar Bakhsh village). The three educational institutions that were allotted plots include Viva Trust for Deaf Children (1.25 acres at Chak Shahzad), Hassan Academy for Special Children (1.25 acres at Chak Shahzad) and University College of Islamabad (1.51 acres in H-9 Sector of Islamabad). The government organisations that were allotted plots include Ogra (3,111 square yards in G-10/4), Law University (35 acres in Zone-IV), Ministry of Housing and Works (5,652 square yards for TVV Block), Pakistan Housing Authority (6.90 acres in G-10/2, 8.90 acres in G-11 and 15.60 acres in I-16), Alternative Energy Board (4,000 square yards in G-11/1), Air University (70 acres in H-11), Comsats Institute (4,259 square yards in H-8/1), PNRA (3,666 square yards in H-11), Institute of Parliamentary Services under the National Assembly Secretariat (6,776 square yards), Ministry of Women Development for girls hostel (583 square yards in G-6/2 and 1,111 square yards in G-7/3), Ministry of Education for library (1,991 square yards in F-10), University of Engineering Science & Technology (215 acres in Zone IV), Iesco (13 kanals in D-12/4), DG Audit (1,555 square yards in G-8/1), Islamabad High Court (14,520 square yards in G-11/4), Frequency Allocation Board (4,977 square yards in G-8/1), Election Commission of Pakistan (1,022 square yards in G-5/2), NDMA (30,250 square yards in G-5), Iesco (15 kanals in Chattha Bakhtawar), Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry for community centre (277 square yards in I-10/3), Full Gospel Church (1,898.98 square yards in G-8/1), Pakistan Housing Authority (90.82 square yards in Kurri Zone V), FG Women Degree College (30 kanals at Bhara Kahu), Nescom (37,333 square yards in H-11/4) and Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan (6,300 square yards). The 18 industrial plots allotted through urban auction in I-11/4 Fruit and Vegetable Market, I-9 Industrial Area, I&T Centre G-10, Green Market I-11/3, etc. The 43 commercial plots were allotted in F-7 Markaz, Blue Area, G-11 Markaz, I-8/1, G-7 Markaz, F-7 Markaz, F-10 Markaz, F-11 Markaz, D-12 Markaz, F-6 Markaz and Class-III shopping centres. This report has been submitted to the National Assembly Secretariat. |
