PTI presents 10 point formula to address Balochistan issues

THE Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has presented a 10-point formula to address the issues of Balochistan and save federation from crisis.

According to the formula issued by central vice president of PTI, Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry: National Finance Commission should announce its awards on the basis of natural resources, poverty and the lack of infrastructure in the province.

He suggested a commission headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan must be constituted to assess the damages of Balochistan during the military operation and demanded that former President Musharraf be tried for the killing of Akbar Bugti.

He said the issue of missing persons must be solved and the people languishing in prisons must be treated on humanitarian basis.

He said the homeless people should be rehabilitated in their homes and compensation must be given to them for the destruction caused by the bombing in their areas.

The PTI leader also suggested that the control of law enforcing forces must be given to the provincial governments and role of agencies must be ended.

He demanded that the control of Gawadar Port must be given to the provincial government and putting an end to the existing land mafia in Gawadar. He said local population must be included in the development process.

Besides, he also demanded that royalty of gas must be paid to the provincial government and provision of gas to the areas of province where so far it had not been provided.

He demanded the construction of mini and major dams, proper attention towards educational sector and inclusion of provincial administration in the issue of natural resources attained from Balochistan.
