Poultry farming 4-week course at Pattoki

THE Department of Poultry Production in collaboration with the Institute of Continuing Education and Extension of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, is initiating a four-week short training course on ‘Modern Environmentally Controlled Broiler Housing’ on Ravi Campus, Pattoki, from August 3. According to a press release here on Wednesday, UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz has already accorded approval of the training course to produce trained manpower direly needed for properly managing modern and environmentally controlled poultry housing in the country. The objective is to enhance the production of poultry meat and animal protein through different management interventions under environmentally controlled poultry housing system and also enhance economic efficiency of broiler production.
