Unregistered car rental agencies banned

KARACHI: The Sindh Home Department has prohibited the unregistered agencies from selling or renting vehicles in Sindh for a period of 60 days under Section 144 of the CrPC.

The department said that unregistered agencies were dealing with rent-a-car/motorcycles in the Sindh particularly in Karachi without registration and proper verification by the Special Branch of Sindh Police Department and this could disturb peace and tranquillity and can create a serious law and order problem. ppi
