PCB asks players to avoid World Cup advertisements
LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday asked the five players of the Pakistan cricket team not to participate in the advertising campaign for the World Cup 2011.
The PCB advised the players to concentrate on the training camp which is being arranged at the Gaddafi Stadium from today (Wednesday) against for New Zealand tour. Five players including captain Shahid Afridi, Abdur Razzaq, Younus Khan, Umar Gul and Shoaib Akhtar were strictly asked to avoid any advertisement related to World Cup 2011. The players had requested the PCB to release them for some days owing to their engagements but the PCB refused to give them the clearance for the same. |
