ISLAMABAD: Construction banned in sectors G-14, G-15

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Saddar) Quratul Ain banned any kind of construction within the limits of sub-sectors G-14/1, 2, 3 and G-15/3 Islamabad for a period of two months, said spokesman of district administration here on Monday.

According to the order land of villages falling in the sub-sectors G-14/1, 2, 3 and G-15/3 has been acquired for the development of housing scheme of Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation. She said that it had come to her knowledge that some people were constructing houses in the said sectors for the sake of improvement and to enhance compensation of built up property that was against the law.

Therefore, she ordered that there were sufficient grounds to proceed under section 144 and to prevent the construction for the safety of the public property.

She also said that implementation on the order would be ensured and action against the offenders would be initiated as provided under the law.
