ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railway has launched an anti encroachments drive and demolished dozens of houses at Tarnol area.

Pakistan Railway Divisional Engineer, Amjad Rasheed said that under the direction of Supreme Court of Pakistan ,anti encroachments campaign has been launched across the country to vacate Pakistan railway�s lands encroached by the peoples.

Residents of Tarnol appealed to the authorities to let them four days deadline, confessing that the land belonged to Pakistan Railway.

After negotiations with higher officials the concerned authorities has given four days dead line to the residents to vacate the railway�s land.

Meat traders demand H-9 slaughterhouse construction

ISLAMABAD: Meat Traders have demanded of the Capital Development Authority CDA to construct Slaughterhouse in Islamabad.

Director Live Stocks and Diary Development Board, Khursheed Ahmed Qurieshi said Land has been purchased in H-9 and PC-1 was completed for the construction of slaughterhouse but delayed occurred due to the shortage of funds.

He condemned Sehala Slaughterhouse substandard cleanliness incident, saying that the incident occurred due to the shortage of sheds, slaughtinghalls and negligence of the concerned authorities.

He said that to control health hazards from substandard meat, construction of slaughterhouse is necessary in Islamabad.

He appealed to the concerned authorities to start the construction work of H-9 slaughterhouse.
