Forex scan points to racket using lost ID cards in property and loan frauds

LAHORE: The FIA seized 1,000 lost and fake identity cards from the officials of Pakistan Post and the National Database Registration Authority who were arrested on Saturday. Sources privy to the investigations said the suspects had confessed to using the cards to obtain bank loans and for credit card and property fraud. The FIA expanded its investigation after the suspects said senior postal officials were patronising the fraud, the sources said. They said the FIA was likely to make more raids on Pakistan Post and NADRA offices, and more arrests are also expected. aaj kal report
