Karachi: Rs4.4m sewerage project in Lyari

Lyari Town Nazim Mahmood Hashim has said that following the release of Rs500 million under the Lyari Development Package by the Sindh chief minister several uplift schemes have been launched in the old area.

Inaugurating the Rs4.4 million sewerage line project in Union Council-4, he also appreciated the cooperation of legislators, elected from Lyari, saying due to their efforts the work was being expanded further to benefit all the people.

Union council Nazims, town officials and councilors were also present on the occasion. Hashim said they want to provide basic facilities to the area people. He said that construction of roads, laying water supply lines and sewerage lines and installation of street lights and other development schemes were evidence of the performance of the Town administration.
