20 extremists back in UK after training
LONDON: Pakistan has tipped off British government about more than 20 Britons believed to have spent time with radical militant groups and then returned to the UK. A Sky TV report said the tracked men may have trained with extremist outfits. A dossier is likely to be handed over to British anti-terrorist teams ‘soon’. The suspects – aged between 17 and 23 – have created “sufficient suspicion” for the ISI to believe they pose a ‘potential danger’ to Britain. At least four are thought to have been fighting in Afghanistan, and intelligence officials say they have heard ‘English accents’ while listening to satellite and mobile phone chatter between the UK and the Tribal Areas.
