Malik warns of “rapid attacks” as last ditch effort by Taliban

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday warned of more terrorist attacks in the days to come, as the Taliban might resort to “rapid attacks” as a last ditch effort to pressure the government. Addressing reporters outside the WFP office after a suicide bomber struck there, Malik condemned the attack. Malik said the Taliban could carry out more attacks in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Islamabad.
