Gold touches another peak at Rs30,300

KARACHI: Gold prices surged by Rs215 to touch another high at Rs30,300 per 10 grams in the local bullion market on Saturday.

The international price of gold also climbed to a record $1,119 per ounce on heavy demand, market sources said.

A leading gold dealer said that tola (11.664 grams) price also jumped by Rs250 to reach the all time high of Rs35,350.

Silver also bounced back at Rs441.42 per 10 grams.—APP
