Railways officials seal retired employee’s house
LAHORE: Railway officials sealed the house of retired employee of the Pakistan Railway’s, while his family was still in the house on Thursday.
According to details, Younis Masih has been an employee of the Pakistan Railways for around thirty years. On Wednesday, Railways officials sealed his house while his family were still inside the house. Some locals approached the victim’s family and recovered the ‘locked’ people. Masih’s family said that they were not informed why they’re house was being sealed. Separately, District and Sessions court has imposed a fine of Rs 3,000 on a sub inspector for illegally detaining a person, on Thursday. Nazir Masih had filed a habeas corpus petition in a district court alleging that Sub Inspector (SI) Talib Hussain of Defence-B police station had detained his cousin Waqas for the last 25 days without any charge or registration of a First Information Report (FIR). staff report |
