Construction reached from 5 % in 2005 to 70 % in 2011

ISLAMABAD: According to Google Earth images of sub-sector G-14/2 and time zone, in 2002 there were constructions on less than three percent area of the sub sector, but illegal construction started soon after FGEHF decided to launch this sector. In 2005 three were construction on almost five percent area, but when it was confirmed that encroachers will get the BUP compensation, till 2011 construction reached to over 70 percent area of the sub sector and during all that time section 144 remained imposed which shows the power, influence and approach of the land mafia. Sources that those images should be used for the award and FGEHF should not delay the announcement of award because by lingering on the issue further constructions will be done and in the end just like sector F-12 and G-12 it would become impossible to get the land vacated and start development work.
