Islamabad Property News : CDA Accused Of Ignoring Encroachments In The Capital


Islamabad : The residents of Lehtrar Road and adjoining areas are facing serious traffic issues because of the encroachment on the roadside. They have reported the case several times to CDA but to no avail. They believe that the culprits have strong connections with higher officials in the CDA and that is why the authority has been continuously ignoring the complaints.

Because of the encroachment, the locality’s outlook has seriously been damaged. Since the road connects various parts of the locality and acts as the main road, heavy traffic jam has become a routine matter here. The concerned authorities of Rawal Town and the TMO have shown commitment to take solid action against these encroachments. They believe that mere fine and penalties would not be enough to curb such practices and therefore the encroachments would be bulldozed. However, no time frame has been announced by the authorities in this regard.
