Dubai to launch electronic 'M-Visa' facility

DUBAI (October 23 2008): Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) is set to launch 'M-Visa' facility, an online service that offers customers instant notifications via e-mail and text messages upon issuance of their entry visa permits (all types included). M-Visa is effort to simplify further procedures and make best use of new technologies. It is available to customers who go through online application process.

When a visa is issued, customers will be notified through e-mail and SMS message. E-mail includes original visa document (PDF format) bearing DNRD logo and signature of director.
