Karachi: Corps Commander visits DHA main office
KARACHI: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Executive Board President and Corps 5 Commander Lieutenant General Shahid Iqbal, visited the main DHA office on Wednesday.
He presided over a meeting of DHA officials, in which he was briefed about the different facets and working of the housing authority. He directed the DHA to ensure a resident-responsive management and to device an inbuilt mechanism in the system for speedy and efficient resolution of residents’ complaints. Lt Gen Iqbal directed the DHA to implement planned security measures in collaboration with residents’ associations at the earliest, to reduce the growing incidence of crime and lawlessness in the area.
