Islamabad: CDA operation against illegal construction

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Directorate of Enforcement has demolished 15 illegal rooms and 15 boundary walls in various parts of the capital besides confiscating five boats being operated illegally in Rawal Lake. While taking action against the illegal construction and encroachment, the authority razed nine rooms, six boundary walls in sector I-11 and five rooms and two boundary walls at Saidpur Model village. Similarly, two rooms and two boundary walls were demolished at Bari Imam and one each room at Mera Bari and sector D-11. The authority also confiscated five boats being operated illegally at Rawal Lake.As many as seven person were challaned and notices were served on four persons for encroachment.
