Thirty more Lahore eateries fined due to unhyginic conditions

LAHORE: The food squad of the City District Government Lahore on Thursday imposed fines on 30 eateries in Gulberg-III, Green and Model towns, Mozang Road, Safanwala Chowk, Temple Road, Taj Bagh Scheme, Samanabad, Chowk Yateem Khana, Begum Kot, Bhati Chowk and Allama Iqbal Road primarily due to unhygienic conditions in their kitchens.

Some 62 samples of food items were collected from 33 eateries while asking the managements to improve hygiene conditions in their kitchens within a week otherwise their licenses would be cancelled and the outlets would be sealed.

The eateries included Ziafat, Kin Nian Chee Taiwan, Me Peter Hsin Kaunce, Salt’n Pepper, Glory Genes, Cheeter One, Hot Chilli, Abdul Majid, Khan, Al-fazal and Haideri restaurants, Sheraz and Al-Rahman hotels, Haji Sahib Haleemwalay, Haji Sultan Haleem Shop, Barbeque Night, Naseer Darul Mahi, Haji Sardar Fish Corner, Mian Shah Din Machli Firosh, Mama Kebab Farosh, Al-Mashoor Fresh Tikka and Atomi Tikka shops, Heera Chargha House and Tasty Burger Point
