ZA Bhutto’s birth anniversary programmes cancelled

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has canceled all programmes in connection with Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s 83rd birth anniversary on account of assassination of Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who is also President PPP Sindh has canceled all functions, which were scheduled for Jan 5 (today), to mark birth anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, said a statement issued by PPP Sindh here on Tuesday.

Sindh CM has also directed all district wings of the party to organise Quran Khwani and Fateha for Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Salmaan Taseer on Wednesday (today) as part of the birth anniversary functions of PPP’s founding chairman.
