Islamabad Bus Service Project approved
Monday, January 06, 2014 - Islamabad—Capital Development Authority (CDA) board has approved “Islamabad Bus Service Project” to address the long standing issue of quality bus service in the Capital city.

This was decided in board meeting of Capital Development Authority held at CDA Headquarters. Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal presided over the meeting while all the members of CDA Board attended the meeting.

The project will be launched initially on three routes Rawat to Pakistan Secretariat, Barakahu to Pakistan Secretariat and IJP Road/I.10 to Pakistan Secretariat.

The project will start initially with a fleet of 33 state of the art buses. Islamabad Bus Service Project will incorporate maximum facilities for commuters including service time table, passengers relations, bus shelters, electronic ticketing, control room and security system.

The CDA Board during today’s meeting also approved rescheduling of payment for convenience of allotees of residential plots in Park Enclave Project.

The CDA Board further accorded approval to settle affectees’ long outstanding claims. In this regard Allotment Scrutiny Committee will consider claims received prior to 25.01.2013. The Board approved the procedure to adjust the remaining flat owners of I-15 Sector against plots.

The CDA Board further finalized priority criterion for allotment of residential plots to the legal heirs of deceased CDA employees in Model Village Ali Pur Farash, Islamabad.
