CDA approves construction of 8 new overhead bridges

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved construction of 8 new overhead bridges in federal capital to facilitate the pedestrians to cross the roads.

CDA technical committee has accorded approval to PC-1 of two projects on construction of these bridges at 8 places in Islamabad. These bridges will cost Rs 340 millions. 4 bridges will be built over Kashmir highway in the areas of NUST university, police lines, G-10 crossing and H-9 weekly bazaar. Likewise bridges will also be built in the area of Lhiaban-e-Sirsyed on IJ Principal road, Fazaya colony on expressway, F-9 park gate on 9th avenue.
