CDA finalises strategy to root out encroachments
On the directions of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal, the Enforcement Directorate has finalised a comprehensive strategy to root out encroachments from different maraakiz of the federal capital.
In this connection, Estate and Administration Member Amer Ali Ahmed has directed Enforcement Deputy Director Asia Gul to take solid steps for the removal of encroachments. Enforcement Directorate has installed banners at different locations, carrying instructions to remove encroachments voluntarily from different markets at their own. The basic purpose of installation of banners is to create awareness that these encroachments not only give ugly look but also are continuous problems for general public visiting these markets. Gul has been directed to monitor this campaign personally and depute the enforcement staff at the places where these banners have been installed to motivate the people for removal of encroachments as these are violation of CDA by-laws and causing inconvenience to the general public. |
