CDA finalises strategy to remove encroachments
Islamabad: Enforcement Directorate of the CDA has finalised a comprehensive strategy to root out encroachments from different markets of federal capital.
In this connection Member Estate and Administration Amer Ali Ahmed has directed Deputy Director General Enforcement Asia Gul to take solid steps for the removal of encroachments. Enforcement Directorate has installed banners at different locations of Islamabad carrying instructions to remove encroachments voluntarily from different markets at their own. The basic purpose of installation of banners is to create awareness that these encroachments not only give ugly look but also are continuous problems for general public visiting these markets. Member Administration & Estate Amer Ali Ahmed directed the deputy director general enforcement to monitor this campaign personally and depute the enforcement staff at the places where these banners have been installed to motivate the people for removal of encroachments as these encroachments are violation of CDA by laws and causing inconvenience to the general public. Amer Ali Ahmed said that not only the issue of encroachment could be resolved by the mutual cooperation of civil society but Islamabad can further be beautified on modern lines. Deputy Director General Enforcement Asia Gul said that all the encroachers have been directed to remove the encroachments within three days. |
