CDA fails to achieve target of Rs 5b from auction

SLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has failed to achieve the Rs.5 billion target from auction of commercial plots.

The CDA employed all its efforts including the advertising campaigns, but the commercial plots of F-11 could not be sold, while the CDA has only received Rs2.21 billion from the auction of commercial plots.

According to sources, the CDA will now again be holding auction of the plots to meet its targets. .

Deputy Director General CDA Hamza Shafaqat said that the CDA auction was badly affected due to blackmailing of Islamabad Development Association.
