LHC invalidates luxury tax notices

Lahore: The Lahore High Court has invalidated the luxury tax notices sent to owners of 2-kanal and bigger houses, states a news report. A two-bench court comprising Justice Shahid Jamil and Justice Sajid Mehmood Sethi announced the verdict on a case filed by 60 applicants challenging the Finance Bill 2004’s Section 8 in the court.
