Islamabad: Investment minister Naveed Qamar visits Centaurus project

Federal Minister for Privatisation and Investment Syed Naveed Qamar Thursday visited the Centaurus, a Pak-Gulf Construction project in the capital.

The minister appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders of the project. He said that in spite of adverse law and order situation in the region and international economic crisis, the Centaurus team continued its work on the project. “This fact is a good omen for future foreign investment in Pakistan,” he added. On the occasion, Syed Naveed Qamar assured all possible assistance to the project.

Pak-Gulf Construction Adviser Admiral ® Abdul Aziz Mirza briefed the minister on the salient features of the mega project.

Pak-Gulf Construction Managing Director Syed Kokab Mohiuddin proposed the establishment of think tanks in ministries for promotion of business and investment in Pakistan. “This will totally turnaround the investment situation in the country,” he added.
