Housing scheme for overseas Pakistanis launched
ISLAMABAD: After a considerable delay of 14 years, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) Valley Zone-V (housing project) - consisting of 2,246 plots over an area of 5,000 canals - finally took place here on Thursday. The project would be completed with total cost of Rs 2.44 billion. Out of the total number of plots, 1,200 have already been allotted to overseas Pakistanis. Apart from residential plots, the scheme also incorporates commercials plots having all state of the art facilities. Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah inaugurated the project and assured that it would be completed in the stipulated period of time 30 months by the FWO. ijaz kakakhel http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp...008_pg5_23 |
