LDA told to clear encroachments in Journalist Colony within 45 days

LAHORE: Punjab Government Spokesperson Zaim Qadri directed officials of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and other departments concerned to complete operation against encroachments in Journalist Colony within 45 days.
Chairing a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Thursday, Qadri said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif wanted to see completion of all projects as soon as possible. He said that the government had approved notification of F-Block of the colony and that its development work would complete soon.
Lahore Press Club officials, Parliamentary Secretary Rana Arshad, MPA Malik Ahmed, Deputy Secretary to Chief Minister Shahid Iqbal and officials of the LDA, WASA, LESCO and PHA were present.
