Deadline Set for Completion of Ghora Chowk and Cavalry Ground Projects in Lahore

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, recently conducted a visit to the construction site of the Cavalry Ground Underpass and the Ghora Chowk Flyover in Lahore. During the visit, he assessed the progress of both projects and shared the anticipated deadlines for their completion, as reported in a leading newspaper on November 17.

Significant advancements have been made in the construction of these major infrastructure projects. The Cavalry Ground Underpass is expected to be completed by November 25, while the Ghora Chowk Flyover is slated for completion by December 7.

The Chief Minister, during his inspection, closely examined the ongoing construction work, emphasizing the importance of regular water sprinkling on the sites to maintain optimal working conditions. In his address during the visit, he highlighted that upon the successful completion of these projects, a signal-free corridor will link Gulberg's Center Point to Ghora Chowk, Defence Morr. This corridor is poised to bring substantial benefits to residents in areas such as Kalma Chowk, CBD, Cavalry Ground, Defence Housing Authority (DHA), and Walton in the city.
