Islamabad: IDWP approves Rs 40.8 million for two ICT projects
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Development Working Party (IDWP) on Friday approved two projects worth of Rs 40.769 million for strengthening security arrangements. Islamabad Chief Commissioner Fazeel Asghar presided over the meeting, which was attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Kaleem Imam, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Director Development/Finance Anita Turab, Islamabad Police AIG Mukarram and officials from Ministry of Interior, Planning and Development Division and Capital Development Authority, said a press release. The IDWP approved two projects including up-gradation of security arrangements at Pak Secretariat buildings, Sector F-5 Islamabad, at the cost of Rs 15.538 million. It also approved another project relating to up-lifting/renovation of the office of Islamabad IGP in F-7/1, office of Special Branch at Sitara Market, Crime Investigation Department (CID) at Bhara Kahu and police barrack No 08 to 11 at Police Lines, H-11, Islamabad, at an estimated cost of Rs 25.231 million. staff report
