LDA invites applications for uplift projects

THE Lahore Development Authority has invited applications form interested firms by the 22nd of April for their prequalification for executing five major development projects in Lahore, Sheikupura and Nankana Sahib.

These projects include extension of Moulana Shaukat Ali Road from Jinnah Hospital to Multan Road through Punjab University land, widening and improvement of Main Road, Sheikhupura, construction of underpasses at Railway Crossing Sheikhupura-Gujranwala Road and Sheikhupura-Hafizabad Road, Sheikhupra, and construction of two hockey stadiums at Nankana Sahib and Sheikhupura.

The LDA also intends to lease out its Asphalt Premixing Plant for two years on annual basis.

The location of the plant is adjacent to disposal station, Jubilee Town Housing Scheme, Defence Road, Lahore. The plant was constructed and commissioned in 2012. It has invited bids for this purpose by 23rd of April 2014. The Lahore Development Authority wants to engage well-reputed advocate as Legal Advisor who has been actively practising as an Advocate of High Court for a period not less than five years. The advocates, fulfilling the criteria, may send their applications with detailed CVs by 22.04.2014.
