Islamabad: The Bahria Town (private) Limited on Tuesday announced an initiative of providing home insurance (inclusive of apartments) in all its phases with effect from May 1, 2014.In this connection, a contract signing ceremony was held between the Bahria Town (private) Limited and EFU General Insurance/Saudi-Pak Insurance (SPI). Wing Commander ® Ayaz Khan, VCE of Bahria Town, and Malik Akbar Awan, deputy managing director of the EFU General Insurance, were the signatories of the contract for Bahria Town, Lahore. Wing Commander ® Ayaz Khan, VCE of Bahria Town, and Raja Naeem Tariq, chief financial officer (acting CEO) of the Saudi-Pak Insurance (SPI) were the signatories of the contract for Bahria Town, Islamabad. The initiative has been taken to secure the property and assets of the entire community living in Bahria Town. It is a unique and revolutionary attempt in Pakistan. The Bahria Town (private) Limited has been shaping landscapes and lives in Pakistan since the company’s inception in 1996.
