Excise And Taxation Department Seals 334 Buildings In Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: The Excise and Taxation Department sealed 334 commercial and residential buildings in different areas of Rawalpindi for non-payment of property tax.

The department also recovered property tax of Rs 1.475 million from tax defaulters in areas including Satellite Town, Faizabad, Murree Road, Pandora, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Sadiqabad and other areas.

According to an estimate, the property owners are defaulting Rs 2.4 million in terms of property tax.
