WCLA Gets Functional Control Of Historical Buildings

Lahore: The Punjab Government has handed over functional and administrative control of various historical structures to the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA).

The WCLA had requested the government for administrative control over Wazir Khan Mosque, Lahore Fort, Shahi Hamam, and Circualr Road strip, according to a summary moved by the authority.

The summary has been approved by the Punjab Government and WCLA is now legally empowered to rehabilitate the aforementioned structures.
