CDA to develop five sectors during current fiscal year

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday informed that it would start the development works in five new sectors during current financial year. In a written statement the CDA said “the sector E-12. C-14, C-16, I-12 and I-15 are planned for development by the CDA in near future in Islamabad, implementation is expected in the current financial year after the fulfillment of codal formalities which are under process. “To overcome the problems of parking, the CDA had decided to improve the facility in Markaz by constructing multi level underground car parking. Two locations in the F-7 Markaz have been selected. Tender have been opened and under the approval. Estimated time of completion would be six to nine months once the work is awarded. CDA collects security fee from private approval scrutiny of the layout plans which is just Rs 2000 per kanal. The amount is not invested in Stock Exchange while the said amount is deposed in the CDA’s main account.
