LDA demolishes constructions

During its operation against the illegal constructions, staff of the Town Planning Wing of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished several constructions on Ferozpur Road on Monday.

Officials said the operation was started on the direction of DG LDA Ahad Cheema. They said the demolished structures included site offices of two private housing schemes, boundary wall of another scheme and 20 shops situated near Qainchi along Ferozepur Road.

They said the site offices of two housing schemes were constructed illegally while the boundary wall of a housing scheme was also demolished by the LDA staff during the operation.

The LDA officials said the operation would continue without any discrimination in the LDA’s jurisdiction.
