LDA warns of commercial use of buildings

LAHORE - Lahore Development Authority has warned against illegal commercial use of buildings and urged the users for immediately applying for commercialisation of properties, failing which their premises will be sealed.
A special desk has also been established at One-Window Cell, LDA, in order to facilitate such applicants.
Annual Commercialization Permission would be permissible for a period of ten years till 2014 and will be renewable on yearly basis. Commercialization fee will be charged annually @ 1.25% of the commercial value of the property which would be payable in lump sum or in two equal installments.
Application for annual commercialization should be addressed to Director Commercialization, LDA along with copy of the CNIC, ownership documents, NOCs from the adjoining neighbors and a statement mentioning intended commercial use of the premises along with a pay order amounting Rs. 5000/- towards processing fee of the application
POSTINGS AND TRANSFERS
On the orders of Director General Lahore Development Authority Ahad Khan Cheema, Akhtar Rasul, Assistant Director Law, working as Deputy Director Law (Own Pay Scale) in Directorate of Law, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Law in Administration Directorate.
On the orders of Additional Director General (HQ) LDA Ammara Khan, services of newly recruited Assistant Directors (Civil Engineering), Muhammad Abdus Salaam, Nouman Mohsin, Nauman Afzal, Raza Hassan Rana, Muhammad Usman Ahmad, Muhammad Aqeel Anwar Choudhary, Muhammad Irfan, Bahader Ali, Bilal Anwar Khokhar, Umar Iqbal and Nadia Anjum have been placed at the disposal of Chief Engineer U.D. Wing, LDA, consequent upon joining Lahore Development Authority.
Upon joining Lahore Development Authority, services of Assistant Directors Law have posted in Directorate of Law, Muhammad Ismail Tabish, Muhammad Shoaib, Imran Khan, Hafiz Muhammad Mazhar Qayyum, Muhammad Irfan, Hafiz Arshad Mehmood, Waqar Adil Mirza, Habiba Younas and Muhammad Zeeshan Khalil, while Farooq Latif has been posted in Directorate of Estate Management-I. Arshad Parvez, Private Secretary to ADG (HQ), has been transferred and posted in Finance Directorate. Syed Nasir Hussain, Private Secretary working in AO-II Section Administration Directorate, has also been transferred and posted in Directorate of Estate Management (QAT), LDA.
