Anti-encroachment operation continues

LAHORE: The district administration continued anti-encroachments follow up operation and removed various illegal structures in the city.

The administration of towns following directions of the DCO Dr Ahmad Javed Qazi participated in the operation and removed illegally constructed shops, several pedestals and many other illegal structures at GT Road, Ravi Town, Circular Road, Bhatti Gate and Wahga Town areas.

According to the sources in district administration, anti-encroachment teams also lodged FIRs against encroachers in various police stations besides seizing seven truckloads of different material.

The administrations of towns have been directed by the DCO to monitor areas continuously where encroachments had been removed so that the encroachers could not reconstruct illegal structures again
