Punjab Chief Minister Unveils Development Initiatives for Gujranwala

During a visit to Gujranwala, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced two additional development projects on December 9. These initiatives include the construction of an overhead bridge on GT Road and the renovation of the Qila Chand Bypass.

CM Naqvi personally inspected the ongoing construction of the Gujranwala Motorway Link Road project during his visit, expressing optimism about its completion within the next month. Stressing the importance of maintaining high construction standards, he directed relevant authorities to allocate additional resources to ensure the timely conclusion of the project.

Addressing the media, CM Naqvi highlighted the swift progress of a two-lane road with a total cost of PKR 7.887 billion. An official from the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) briefed the CM on the rapid construction of the 15.2-kilometer-long approach road, with completed earthwork from Benazir Chowk to Wahndo Interchange.
