Benazir Tractor Scheme: MTL starts tractors' delivery

KARACHI (September 20 2009): Soon after receiving the orders of the successful applicants of Benazir Tractor Scheme, Miliat Tractors Limited (MTL) has started delivery of its Massey Ferguson Tractor models as per its commitment with the Government of Pakistan. In this respect, a ceremony was held at ZTBL Mailsi, District Vehari on September 18, 2009 wherein local farmers, press and ZTBL officials participated.

During the ceremony, two tractors, MF- 350 and MF 375, were handed over to Abdul Majeed and Muhammad Saqib, respectively who were declared successful in the scheme and had opted for these models. Speaking on the occasion, Anwar-ul-Haq Mehdi, Manager ZTBL Mailsi informed that ZTBL is issuing supply orders to all successful applicants by speedily processing the cases.

Muhammad Akram, Dy. General Manager- Marketing informed that the Company has enhanced its production capacity to meet the demand of the farmers and tractors under the scheme shall be provided within short span of time. The farmers appreciated Millat Tractors new technology tractor models and its efforts for accelerating the tractors delivery and after-sales services.-PR
