Islambad Plan for new public transport project

Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has prepared a fresh public transport project to accommodate the increasing population of the capital city.

The transport project will be started after final approval from the CDA board.

According to reports, 33 buses will be initiated on different routes and bus terminals will be constructed at Bhara Kahu, Rawat, Tarnol and F-8 Markaz. The public transport will be started on public-private partnership.

The civic authority officials are of the view that the transport project has been formed to fulfil the public need for coming 15 years. They said that number of vehicles will be increased in accordance with the need.
