Karachi Municipal Corporation Started Action Against Owners Of 50 Commercial Buildings


Karachi: Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) has started action against the owners of 50 commercial buildings in Saddar area who have developed illegal godowns and shops on the parking spaces. The occupation of parking spaces has increased traffic issues in the area.

KMC has completed survey of commercial buildings. Administrator Karachi Abdur Rauf Akhter said the action has been started against those buildings using parking spaces for commercial purposes. He added further that any lease agreement related to these parking spaces will be terminated. In future, city-wide survey will be conducted and parking spaces will be recommenced, Akhter added.
