'Gwadar to play vital role for development': Director Gwadar

ISLAMABAD: Gwadar Port, as the second largest port of the country, would play an important role in development and prosperity of the province and country. This was stated by the Director Gwadar, Fazal-ur-Rehman on Monday. He said Gwadar Port is now fully functional and is expected to generate billions of dollars in revenues, enhance economic activities and create jobs for the people. He said Gwadar would serve as an energy corridor for Central Asia, Middle East, South Asia and the Western part of Asia. The significance of Gwadar is great for both Pakistan and China, he added. Gwadar would be connected with China through the Indus Highway. app
