Uplift schemes worth Rs300 mn approved

MULTAN: The District Coordination Committee on Monday approved development schemes worth Rs 300 million.

The meeting was chaired by DCO Khurram Agha. MPAs Dr. AkhtarMalik, Malik Ghulam Abbas Raan, Mehdi Abbas Khan Langah, Malik Amir Ghani Maral besides Naeem Khan, town administrators, municipal officers, and assistant director local government Khawaja Muhammad Anwar were also present.

The meeting was informed that a sum of Rs 50.5 million was allocated for schemes in Shah Rukn-e-Alam town, Rs 60 million for Bosan town, Rs 99.4 million for Shujabad town, Rs 32.6 millionfor Jalalpur Pirwala town, and Rs 30 million each for Musa Pakand Sher Shah towns.

The DCO said that no scheme should be included without consulting MPAs concerned.
