CDA has allocated sufficient funds for Parking construction
Islamabad: The Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA), Maroof Afzal has said that the Authority had allocated sufficient funds during the current fiscal year for construction of Multi-Level Parking to resolve the parking issues in the Federal Capital. The Chairman CDA was charing authority's meeting on Thursday at CDA Headquarters. CDA Board Members and officers of Engineering Wing also attended the meeting. He said that the work on construction of multi-level parking in Islamabad would soon be initiated. Maroof Afzal said that the development activities in the current fiscal year were top priorities of CDA. He further added that major chunk of the budget had been allocated for the construction and development activities. Chairman CDA was apprised that tender notice had been floated in the national press for construction of Multi-Level Parking at the Southern and Northern side of F-7 Markaz in Islamabad, which would be opened on 25th of this month. Chairman CDA said that compromise on quality would not be tolerated. He also directed the concerned formations of the Authority to ensure timely completion of construction work on the parking plazas. In another development, has started anti encroachment drive in the Capital City. Enforcement Directorate has removed the encroachments causing hindrance to the people visiting Markaz F-7. In the meanwhile, Chairman CDA, Mr. Maroof Afzal has directed the Enforcement Directorate to ensure removal of encroachments from all Marakiz (Markets) of Islamabad. He directed the Enforcement Directorate to continue the indiscriminate operation against encroachments in the capital city. |
