50% Pakistanis proud of what they do: survey
More than fifty per cent Pakistanis feel proud of their work while 22 per cent respondents said they do not at all take pride in work they do, said a survey conducted by Gallup Research Foundation.
According to the survey, released by Gilani Foundation here, said that majority of the Pakistanis are proud of what they do. When the respondents were asked about their interest in the work what they do, 22 per cent of the respondents said they take ‘a lot of pride’ in their work and 31 per cent claimed to take ‘somewhat’ pride in their work. According to the survey, twenty four per cent of the respondents said they take ‘very little’ pride in what they do while twenty two per cent of the respondents ‘do not at all’ take pride in whatever they do. The data revealed that there is a proportionately higher tendency among men to take ‘a lot of’ or ‘somewhat’ pride in their work and a higher tendency among women to ‘not at all’ take pride in their work as 28 per cent gave that response compared to only 16 per cent among men. The survey was carried out among a sample of 2,624 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country in mid March with two to three per cent error margin. http://www.thenews.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=173926 |
