Rawalpindi: RDA and CBRECHS sign MoU to launch housing society spanning 2,550 kanals

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and Central Board of Revenue Employees Cooperative Housing Society (CBRECHS) on Thursday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a housing society on 2,550 kanals of land near I-16 and I-17 Islamabad. The MoU was signed in a ceremony at RDA offices. The chairman, Chief Minister’s Monitoring Team for Rawalpindi Development Projects, Sardar Naseem, MPA Raja Hanif, RDA Director General Shahbaz Makeen, CBRECHS Managing Committee President Mobeen Malik, GM Muhammad Bilal Khan, Project Director Dr Khalid Qureshi and others attended the ceremony. Malik signed the MoU on behalf of CBRECHS and Director Town Planning Jamshed Aftab on behalf of RDA. RDA will develop the housing society for CBRECHS on 2550 kanals land near I-16 and I-17 Islamabad. RDA would construct roads, sewerage system, water supply lines and other civic facilities and would receive two percent development charges.
