A task force has been constituted in the Capital Development Authority (CDA), headed by Deputy Director-General (Planning and Housing Development) to monitor the progress of development activities in sectors D-12 and E-12.

He was also briefed about the ongoing and new developmental projects in sectors I-14, I-15, I-16, D-12 and E-12. He advised the concerned departments to ensure timely completion of the ongoing projects.

“All new projects should be initiated with proper planning to ensure that those are beneficial for the citizens of Islamabad and the general public in ever manner,” he said. He expressed his satisfaction over the development work in Sector I-14, I-15 and I-16, and directed the engineering wing to ensure the provision of water, electricity and gas on priority basis.

However, work on the ‘Kashmir Expressway’ and the ‘Khayaban-e-Iqbal extension beyond F-11 would be initiated soon.
